The fundi app for cutting plans and professional quotes
Write the cutting list by hand like always. NestCut tells you exactly how many boards the job needs, puts a label on every piece and turns the job into a clean, professional quote for your client.
Know your board count before you buy
Most fundis estimate boards from experience, and the client pays for the guess. NestCut packs every part onto the boards and shows the exact count per material, how much of each board is used, and the edging and grooving metres. Take the plan PDF to the yard: every board has its own cut list, so you can see what was cut from what.
Print labels for the pieces: each label shows the size, the board it came from, the panel number and the edges to tape, so pieces don't get mixed up or go missing between the yard and the site.

A professional quote in minutes
Set up your business once: workshop name, phone, logo, M-Pesa details and your prices. After Make plan, tap Quote:
- Boards & edging priced from the plan, with an edging allowance (+0, +5 or +10%) for tape lost at the yard.
- Cutting per board.
- Accessories: type them, or scan your handwritten list.
- Installation and transport as their own sections.
- A subtotal per section, then the total. Every quote is numbered and dated, with a valid-until date.
Charge full boards (the normal supply-and-cut job) or area used + waste for small jobs from your offcuts, and add a ¼ or ½ board spare when you want one. Choose one of three designs:

Write the accessories by hand, scan them into the quote
Hinges, runners, handles, legs, screws, gas lifts: write them on any paper or on page 4 of our free form, then tap Scan list in the quote. NestCut reads each item with its quantity and unit and fills in the price: a price written on the paper first, then your own price for that item, then the typical Nairobi price. You check the list before it goes into the quote. Accessory scans are free and don't use your cutting-list scans.

A ready price list: change it to yours
In My business & prices, tap Start from typical prices to load typical Nairobi prices (Oct 2026) for 79 boards (55 PG Bison 2750 × 1830 and 24 8×4 yard boards) and about 70 cabinet accessories, plus edging, grooving and cutting rates. Loading never overwrites a price you already have. Change any price to your supplier's and NestCut remembers it for every quote. See the typical board and hardware prices.

Invite another fundi, both get free scans
Share your invite from the app menu. When the fundi you invited does their first scan, you both get 10 free scans.
