Wardrobe designs in Kenya: built-in, sliding and walk-in
A fitted wardrobe uses every centimetre from floor to ceiling. As wardrobe makers and installers, we design the inside around what you store, then cut and install it anywhere in Kenya.

Wardrobe designs we build
Built-in (fitted) wardrobes with hinged doors, sliding wardrobes for rooms where there is no space for doors to swing, walk-in closet layouts with open shelving and hanging space, and shoe racks. Each wardrobe design starts from your room size and what you need to store.
For small bedrooms, sliding doors and full-height units give the most storage without crowding the room. Every wardrobe we build has at least three drawers, plus shelves and hanging rails arranged the way you use them.
Hinged or sliding: which wardrobe design is right?
Hinged wardrobes are 600 mm deep and give full access to the inside. Sliding wardrobes are 650 mm deep to fit the sliding track and rollers, and save the space a door needs to open. Both can have mirrors, handle-less fronts or wood-grain finishes.

Prices in Kenya
Wardrobe prices in Kenya depend on the width and height, hinged or sliding doors, the number of drawers and the fittings. After measuring we send an itemised quote.
What affects the price
- Width and height in running metres, and whether it goes to the ceiling.
- Hinged or sliding doors: sliding wardrobes need a track per metre and rollers per door, and are deeper (650 mm), so they use more board.
- Number of drawers: each drawer has its own set of runners.
- Finish, mirrors and handles.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a wardrobe cost in Kenya?
It depends on the size, hinged or sliding doors, drawers and fittings. We measure the room and send an itemised quote so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Which is better, a hinged or a sliding wardrobe?
A sliding wardrobe saves floor space because the doors don't swing out, which suits small bedrooms. A hinged wardrobe gives full access to the inside. Sliding wardrobes are 650 mm deep, hinged ones 600 mm.
What is the standard depth of a wardrobe?
Our hinged wardrobes are 600 mm deep and sliding wardrobes 650 mm deep, enough for clothes on hangers plus the sliding track.
Can you build a wardrobe for a small bedroom?
Yes. We use sliding doors and full-height units to get the most storage from a small room, and design the inside around what you keep.
